Never have these words been truer…

Clearly, that title is a slight clickbait, but still, I stand by it. I am also sure that you want to know what words I am referring to. Just to be clear you can’t just jump to the bottom and find out what I am talking about, see I realised that’s how most clickbait works so I am going to get you to read to get the other half of that sentence.

You: But I can’t read!

Ok, let’s have a look at that statement because it quickly raises a few issues in my head.

1st. Why are you on a blog which is full of you know…. written communication if you cannot read?

2nd. How are you writing as you must have thought of that comment, chuckled, decided on writing it, read it back and think that is a witty comment. But in fact, if you cannot read (like you state) then actually then, I assume, you cannot write (or more accurately type). Although I’ll let my more medically qualified brother answer the question of reading and writing versus illiteracy.

3rd. Why am I typing a response if you cannot read?

You: I dunno… but you have.

So you see the dilemma how do I respond other than pass it to my brother to explain a person who cannot read but can type. Well, where was I? Ah yes, clearly I believe a timing and reliability issue exists on this blog. I am happy to take some blame and I am sure my brother can as well. I am, but a man typing on a keyboard who currently does not have the finances to run an army or build an empire. I suppose that also starting my own business as a photographer has somewhat interrupted my free time a little bit.

I now have to relieve the suspense in saying that: Never have these words been truer … That we are not very good at writing this and keeping it up to date. But we do try.

That’s all!

PS I lied and I did put it at the end.
